VeriClean ("the app") is a mobile app and web platform created by Kineto Soft ("we", "us") that lets cleaning staff and supervisors verify job completion by comparing before-and-after photos of a space. This policy explains what data VeriClean collects, why, and how it's handled under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Who is responsible for your data

VeriClean is operated by Kineto Soft (Ugur Akcelik), Turin, Italy — VAT IT12938420010 — the "data controller" under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data we collect

Account data — your email address, full name, role (cleaner, supervisor, or admin), and a securely hashed password (we never store passwords in plain text).
Cleaning session photos & records — before and after photos taken by cleaners, AI-generated checklists, audit grades, and out-of-band issue reports (e.g. missing supplies like soap, shampoo, or toilet paper; maintenance defects like broken windows or non-working AC units).
Team & organization data — team links connecting team owners, supervisors, and cleaners within an organization.
Subscription status — subscription plan status (Solo, Team, Business) managed securely via Google Play or RevenueCat. VeriClean's servers never store your payment card details.
Basic technical metadata — standard request IP addresses used transiently for rate-limiting, authentication tokens, and security abuse prevention. We do not use advertising trackers or sell personal data.

AI Photo Analysis: To automatically generate and audit cleaning checklists, session photos are processed by advanced AI vision technology. The AI analyzes the images strictly to detect surfaces, room items, and cleaning quality. Missing supplies (soap, shampoo, toilet paper) and maintenance defects (broken windows, non-working AC) are logged directly by your cleaning crew members in the mobile app. Photos are processed solely for room audit purposes and are never used to personally identify you or for advertising.

How we use your information

To operate your account, authenticate you, and manage team permissions
To generate and audit cleaning checklists via AI photo analysis
To store and display before/after inspection logs to you and your team supervisors
To route defect reports and supply restock alerts to property managers
To verify subscription status and send transactional account emails

Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

Contract — account setup, team management, photo audit logs, and checklist generation necessary to provide the service.
Legitimate interest — transient technical metadata used for rate-limiting, token security, and abuse prevention.

Who we share it with

AI Processing Partner — session photos are sent securely to our AI vision processing partner to automatically generate checklists and evaluate cleaning completion. Photos are processed solely for audit analysis.
RevenueCat & Google Play — to verify subscription purchases and active team tiers.
Your team & supervisors — cleaning logs, photos, and reported defects are shared with authorized members of your team by design.

We do not sell personal data to third parties.

International data transfers

Where third-party providers (such as Google or RevenueCat) process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), they do so under appropriate GDPR Chapter V safeguards, including standard contractual clauses (SCCs).

Data retention & deletion

We keep your account and cleaning session data for as long as your account remains active. You can delete your account at any time directly in the app under Settings. To request deletion via email, contact info@kineto-soft.com. Account data is removed within 30 days, with residual backup copies purged within 90 days.

Your rights

Under GDPR, users in the EU/EEA have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, export ("port"), or object to the processing of their personal data. Contact info@kineto-soft.com to exercise any of these rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority — in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.

Children's privacy

VeriClean is a professional workplace tool and is not directed at or intended for children under 16.

We may update this policy as VeriClean evolves. The "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision.
